PMEGP is a credit-linked subsidy scheme that promotes self-employment through the establishment of micro-enterprises.

Eligibility Criteria

Age 18 years and above, No income ceiling for setting up projects, Educational qualification: Minimum VIII standard pass

Benefits

Subsidy up to 25% (35% for special category) of project cost, Maximum project cost: Rs. 25 lakh for manufacturing, Rs. 10 lakh for service sector
